Spinoff: what DC hero (non Big 7) should get a movie?

For the uninitated the Big 7 are the typical JL memebers. Flash,GL,Aquaman.
DC has a lot of legacy characters, so guys like Nightwing and the Titans make it a little harder to do with out introducing the main guys first
This is more of a under the radar type thing.
I'd like to see a New Gods story, a Mr.Terrific story (I think that could be huge), Booster Gold/Rip Hunter movie. Deadman as well.
Also as far as animated DCU, I'd love to see 52 adapted.
Finally, do think DC concepts like the Multiverse could ever be explored on the big screen?

I assume you're quantifying the big 7 as Superman, Batman, Wonder Woman, Manhunter, Green Lantern, Flash, and Aquaman.
The answer is simple: Shazam.

Funny you mention Nightwing...this is somewhat related to a Robin spinoff as well:
Batman: Under The Red Hood
It's animated and on Netflix...it's worth 75 minutes if you can spare it.

I mean you do....and then I you don't. I think you could do it without Batman, who doesn't know Batman, it could just be referenced. Nightwing is one of the more interesting characters in all of comics and would make a terrific movie.
Also Green Arrow.

I agree with you. Nightwing is awesome and finally has a great writer (imo) and a good artist. I was never a fan of the Dixon-McDaniel stories. I did enjoy the Tomasi run on him. The problem with Nightwing is how do you do the origin story for Dick Grayson? As much as I think we can start phasing out origin movies, Grayson is defined by his growth from childhood to adulthood.

Don't think Green Arrow is deserving of a movie, he's basically a badass rich guy like Batman and he's gotten a lot of exposure on TV lately. Great character, but don't see it being worth an entire movie.
Black Adam/Shazam is a good choice though, I could definitely see The Rock as BA. It's only a matter of time before he squeezes into a superhero genre whether it's Marvel or DC

You could do so many awesome things with this.. honestly, something as simple as the opening to "The Watchmen" would suffice in my opinion for his origins.. and have the movie start off right after his departure as robin.

I don't want any more super heros, I want a super villian. Don't really care who, Penguin, Riddler, etc. just want to see the bad guy mess shite up.

Although he is an original JL member, I'd like to see Cyborg.
Others:
Spectre
John Constantine deserves another movie.
Huntress
The Question
Deathstroke - although he is basically Deadpool with the cool attitude.

Well considering Flash is in the BIG 5 and still doesn't have a real movie, let's start with him first before moving to the retard bracket.
