2009 was the only time in Omaha that I stayed the ENTIRE tournament....from Day1 til the end, the full two weeks....Went up there with Dad and my brother (who graduated from Texas!!)
It was amazing, and I will never forget Game1 of that series against Texas, it was amazing.

Hadn't seen a few of those in a while. UCI may have knocked us out later, but we broke their hearts again and gave them no chance to win that regional.

Obviously, the outcome of the series sucked, but damn, I keep forgetting how epic that first game against Stony Brook was.

I'm gonna be honest...I totally forgot how awesome Game1 was... It's like I tried to totally block out the entire series after we lost.
Watching those highlights though, it reminds me how dramatic and cool Game1 was. Homer after homer after homer, each one tying the game up again.
Sportcenter quote... "The best game of the season in college baseball."
