I am going to attend ballgames at these three stadiums in either early July or early August. I am not sure which set of games I will make yet. I hope to catch the Cubs in August, but I would be fine with either trip.

Saturday – July 6th – Phillies vs Braves 7PM
Sunday – July 7th – Nationals vs Padres 1:35PM
Monday – July 8th – Orioles vs Rangers 7PM

Saturday – August 3rd – Orioles vs Mariners 7PM
Monday – August 5th – Nationals vs Braves 7PM
Tuesday – August 6th – Phillies vs Cubs 7PM

To everyone who has been to these stadiums, what advice do you have for me to have an even better time? Decent reasonably priced seats, places to eat around the stadiums, bars, cool things to see, etc. Thanks for any help.

o man where to start, well the best one will be bmore b/c its right downtown with bars and shite all there.

Philly is in south philly and its a giant complex shared with 2 other stadiums so its more of a tailgate before the game

nats park is great but the area is still being developed so your best bet is to drink like in arlington va pre game then catch the metro

Baltimore is my favorite of those three. Just a great park.

Grab breakfast at Blue Moon Cafe if you can.

Nats Park has a Shake Shack inside, which is great burgers.

Jaleo is great tapas in DC

People will tell you to hit Pat's or Geno's in Philly for Cheesesteaks, but I've heard good things about Jim's.

Been to Pat's before and Philly like half a dozen times, but I have not made it until a game yet.

That will be a lot of fun! I've been to the ballparks in DC and Baltimore. They are both nice, and IMO Camden is one of the top five parks in the MLB.

Camden is right downtown so you can easily go to nearby bars and then walk to the game. Baltimore has a particularly lenient policy on outside food and drink (non-alcoholic). So you can bring your own stuff into the park and save a lot of money. There are usually vendors selling brats, etc outside the park.

For the game at Nationals Park definitely take the Metro. It is really convenient (drops you off right at the ballpark). Parking there is very limited. You can take one sealed bottle of water with you to Nationals Park. That alone will save you about 5 bucks per day.

Nats Park is pretty small, so all of the seats are pretty good. I usually go for the Lower Gallery or the Mezzanine for decent tickets that aren't too expensive. The upper gallery are the cheapest, but to me they are a little too high up. Definitely not as bad as a lot of parks though. The Terrace level is decent, but there are not a lot of concessions and you feel a little more isolated out there. There are also some places you can stand and watch the game.

Camden Yards is one of my favorite stadiums in baseball, that and PNC out in Pittsburgh are my favorites.

Never been to the Nationals new stadium but I've been to CBP in Philadelphia a million times. For Philly there is a pretty fun bar attached to the stadium called McFaddens, it's overpriced but convenient and packed before games. You can also go across the street to the Xfinity Center which is halfway between CBP and the Linc and offers multiple bars.

If you have the time you should hop on 76 (PA Turnpike) and catch a game out at PNC in Pittsburgh. If you're a fan of baseball you won't be disappointed.

Tickets at CBP are fairly easy to find now and pretty cheap after the Phils fell off. Hope you enjoy the trip.

+ 1 for Jim's.

frick it, + 1000 for Jim's. Then, leave room in your gut to go to Reading Terminal market, and buy 50 pounds of baked goods from the Amish women.

Also, I'd recommend a visit to the Mitchell & Ness Flagship store while you're in Philly.

Haven't been to Nationals park (yet).

Baltimore has a nicer park/sight lines, but I really prefer Philly as a city.

I have been to PNC. It was awesome.

It never really gets mentioned, but New Yankee Stadium is spectacular as well. Definitely worth seeing.

If you go to that Monday night game against the Braves, consider diamond club seats. All you can drink and eat for around 125 and prime seats behind the backdrop. As for bars, Justin's Cafe is a cool spot about two blocks away.

I've been to Camden Yards and Nat's Stadium and, although an NL fan, Camden is better.

At Nat's park (as others have said) you can have food and drink in Arlington and take the metro to the stadium. They also have a food place out in center field that is not bad.

In Baltimore there are restaurants around the park. The food in Camden Yards is good. One of my favorite restaurants is in Baltimore up Charles Street. I think the cross street in Mulberry. If you like Northern Italian food it's called "Sotto Sopra". The cab drive can't be all that expensive, it's probably not more than a couple of miles.

Enjoy!

Babe Ruth Birthplace and Museum is right outside Camden Yards and was worth visit when I went many years ago. Camden's a great venue and there are plenty of restaurants and shops within walking distance.

Actually ate at Justin's cafe today before the game, good recommendation. If you do a day game at Nats Park grab a pregame bite there, but then go out in the city after. Take the metro, drops you off at half street and you can see the building that my company sacrificed my 401K matching in order to sponsor.

For Baltimore, the inner harbor location is the best of the three, stay, eat and drink in walking distance. Go to Dempseys on Eutaw St and get the bacon on a stick. Plus it's Camden, started the baseball specific era parks in 93.

As for Philly, my dad is from there, been to Pats Genos and the Vet. I hate that city with all my being, just keep driving and go to Yankees Stadium.

This. Baltimore has done a great job in this museum of showcasing their sports history.

Nat's Stadium has Ben's Chili Bowl as a food choice. Can't go wrong with that.
