The woman hired to clean up Rutgers' scandal-scarred athletic program quit as Tennessee's women's volleyball coach 16 years ago after her players submitted a letter complaining she ruled through humiliation, fear and emotional abuse, The Star-Ledger reported Saturday night on its website.

wtf could Rutgers possibly be thinking?

Robert Barchi kept his job so no surprise here. As another poster said at least he's consistent

This is what happens when you go down that slippery slope of firing humans who aren't perfect - while looking for that perfect Mom and Apple Pie person...humans aren't perfect - it doesn't exist. The mythology needed to satisfy the public is getting rarer and narrower - w/o sin doesn't exist ...this is too funny for Rutgers chasing the public's ridiculousness.

They didn't need someone perfect they just needed someone who wasn't a maniac.

It shouldn't be that hard to find a person that doesn't have that kind of shite in their past.

I find her reaction to this news even more damning as she claims she has no recollection of the letter or her players complaints that caused her to resign as the Tennessee volleyball coach.

Its not a good look to flat out lie like that right off the bat.

Don't forget about her telling her assistant coach not to get pregnant.

That's not all. She's on video at her wedding chastising her about wanting to start a family. Naturally, she says she doesn't remember being at the wedding despite the fact that she was a bridesmaid and caught the bouquet.

Sounds like she should be working at the White House.
