Headed to Le Pavillon this weekend, and I'm looking for any decent places within walking distance, since I'll have 3 kids with me. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated...

Tons of decent places in that area. Need to be more specific.

Most really kid friendly places are going to be shite.

You can walk up towards the dome and go eat at Walk Ons.
Back down poydras toward Harrahs is Gordon Biersch.
I take my kids to Lucy's which is not far away on
Palace Cafe on Canal is kid friendly.
Yes I named some pretty average places, but with three kids I'm not sure how much higher up you want to go.

Think warehouse district
Herbsaint
The pizza place next to Herbsaint. Don't know the name. It is really good.
Pesce (Also, about a block from Pesce, on St. Charles, heading toward Poydras is a nice little sweet shop that sells choclates, salted caramel, etc)
American Sector
Borgne
Reginelli's (not that good but it's right there)
Also Pinkberry or whaever yogurt place next to the Doubletree
Domenica
A couple years ago, my wife and I stayed at Le Pavillon for our anniversary. Walked and ate alkl over the warehouse district. I much prefer that side to the french quarter.
But, in the quarter, the French Market has all sorts of great food options now.
Muriel's is great with kids.
Stanley
New Orleans hamburger (better than many of the other tourist-shitty food places)\
Cafe Du Monde is a must. Sit toward the outer edge by the fountain and the kids can watch the rats in the garden.
ETA - I've taken my kids to all of these places except Stanley and the pizza place by herbaint, only because I ate at those places at lunch while at work).

ETA, Always a fun pastime in the Pat O's courtyard, as well.

Every so often, one will poise to make a run into the actual restaurant, and I get very excited at the potential turmoil about to break out. Sadly, it never actually happens though.

Leonardo's Trattoria. It's pretty good.

This seems like a good choice. Big space and if you have time, you can walk through the museum or see the movie.

No, its not. It's probably the single worst meal I have ever eaten. I honestly don't even know how this place is still open. It's an atrocious embarrassment to Italian food.

Their food is terrible.
I'll second Peche (it's awesome) and Borgne which is good and certainly kid friendly.

Hop on the trolley if you can't find anything close. They would like that probably.

We took the kids on the streetcar from the Monteleone down to Mandina's for dinner over Easter weekend and it was great. They used to ride them in Memphis pretty regularly when we lived there, but it was still fun.

You must not eat out much. Plus you don't know how to order at a place like that. I'm not saying it's a good restaurant, it is a sufficient pizzeria. I saw some mediocre Italian food, but for a place to bring 3 kids it fits the bill.

Relax, no one said it's the standard barer.

Not sure I would bring young kids to Peche. IMO

Let me put it to you this way. We went there during jazz fest a year ago. Herbsaint is packed. LT had not a soul in the place. We had a big group so we figured why not. The service was awful and rude, and the food tasted like reheated frozen dinners. probably half our group didn't eat what they ordered. I'm not picky, but this was without a doubt an embarrassment to attempts at italian food. You want a decent pizzeria in the area? Take the streetcar to slice.

You are kind of screwed with the location and wishes for eats brah. If they and you can cope with it Mothers is down Poydras.

Don't go to Mother's. There are a shite load of places you can bring kids down there.
As for Leonardo's, the general speculation is it is a front, as there is never anyone in it but it has been there for a long time.
I've been once. Had a pizza. It was good.

Also, for pizza, Big Pie (I think) is right across the street. I used to order form there on my way home when I was in One Shell. It is good also, though if you dine in the service is just okay. Id rather that over Reginelli's or Leonardo's.
