My cable/internet went out day before yesterday. Fortunately I had the last 10 episodes of Season 4 on my hard drive to keep me occupied.
I'm assuming your bowling buddies get the reference... but have any other teams mentioned anything?

In season 2, episode 16 Walter is talking to Olivia, he mentions "Walternate" by name (a name that had actually been given to him by the audience.. NOT bad robot) to which Olivia responds, "Walternate?" .. Walter then proceeds to tell olivia that "Walternate" is the name that him and Bell gave to the "other Walter" back in 1985 when they were viewing him from the blue side..
After that point, it is the name that is given to Secretary Bishop, by the blue side, through season 5.. mostly being used by the main cast, including Broyles on numerous occasions..
ETA: I was referencing.. THAT conversation.

I love this show and I'm still watching it near the end of season 4. I may have to wait for season 5 because I have to buy it on amazon to watch it. Its not expensive but not sure if I want to wait.

It came up because we were talking about the shows that we were watching on Netflix and two of them basically said, "Madmen and Fringe...LOVE Fringe!" We kicked around about 8975498574 different team names before arriving at that, and Walternate was randomly the only one that had anything to do with Fringe. The Redverse prevailed!

It was actually our first night, but the league started last week. We hope at least one other person "gets it".
The bowling shirt ideas could be epic, but I doubt we will do those.
