Ran 10 jugs only once, let them sit for about an hour, prob my last time to do it out here (for a while) due to my move to H-town next week. Anybody want to lead me in a direction of a good lake near Houston?

Livingston is shallower than Conroe overall but has some deep areas.

6 on 10...on one run? That's incredible, especially the size.

They look unusually clean. Private pond?

yea, 3 hooks per jug, the fish are really clean, including the filets. public lake. There really arent many small fish out here because people just like to wakeboard in Austin

Which lake in atx? And like someone said Livingston and Conroe will be your best bets in the houston area.

Livingston may be deeper than Conroe I think, Conroe is in as bad a shape as Travis is right now

Gibbons creek is great for cats near the damn. Conroe can get packed since it's so close to houston!

Lake Houston has plenty of catfish and you dont have to drive an hour to get there. Tip, fish near Cedar Landing, they feed the catfish off the restaurant patio.
