I wouldn't mind them getting their name back. I visited my brother and sister there a couple of months ago and there is still lots of Charlotte Hornets merchandise being worn and sold around the city. The name just fits them.

Name an international cuisine based out of any other city in the US.
That's just one example. New Orleans has a very distinct difference from most other cities.

Got stung by a hornet today. There are plenty in Louisiana, but I understand Charlotte has more connections to the name.
