So Im graduating tomorrow and I have lots of family coming down from Houston. They all want some good Louisiana seafood. Price doesn't really matter. Preferably a place where we can get raw or chargrilled oysters? My family loves those, big fan of Pascal's Manale in NOLA but being in BR thats way to far.
Im personally a big fan of Parrain's, but what does the food and drink board think/recommend?

Parrains has been good when I've been
I haven't been to acme but I've heard decent things
Louisiana lagniappe would be a decent dinner option

Louisiana Lagniappe, but get there right when they open.
It is the best seafood restaurant in town.

This. I happened to stumble into Mansur's on graduation Friday last year without a reservation and even at 1:30 had to wait half an hour for a really crappy table.

Parrain's has always been good.
Acme is right next door but I am not a huge fan

Acme has raw and chargrilled oysters. They chargrilled are good, but not great. Mansur's chargrilled are terrific, but as others have said you may have a problem getting a reservation at this point. The fish dishes there are very good.
Other seafood at Acme is good. Not great, but good.

Ur a little late my friend. Good spots will b booked up....That shoulda been done weeks ago.
Louisiana Lagniappe may be ur best bet, as they dont take reserves. I would be there at 5 when they open tho.
I woulda said Mansur's a couple weeks ago.
Good luck

There are still odds and end spots available for reservations but as stated it is kinda tough to move around on such a big day. It may be one of the busiest days of the year for nicer restaurants in Baton Rouge. Good luck!

Thanks for all the suggestions. I think we are either going to do Louisiana Lagniappe or Parrain's. I called both and neither are taking reservations today or tomorrow b/c of graduation. So if we get their early it should be fine. Thanks

I've heard Sammy's has a great soft-shell crab po'boy. Dempsey's has a great fried fish po'boy.
Louisiana Lagniappe is probably my favorite seafood restaurant in town.
