Should I watch Django Unchained?

I am not a big Tarantino fan but I heard this was a great movie and can't decide if I want to rent it and watch it tonight. Opinions?

What is the premise? I know it is about a slave who turns too a bounty hunter. Is there anything else about the plot noteworthy.

Decent movie but he's made several that are better. I'd give it a watch just don't go in with huge expectations based on the love that it got during Oscar season. Also, it's like goddamn 3 hours long. Gets really slow at some parts.
