Bishop's Barrel No. 3 Will Be Released Monday, May 13

The third in our Bishop's Barrel series is coming out on Monday. Like BB1, it is a bourbon barrel imperial stout. There will be two differences: 1) we fermented the imperial stout this time with our house Saint Arnold yeast which added a touch of creaminess to the beer (BB1 was fermented with a less estery yeast), and 2) it will have a 3 on the neck label instead of a 1. Also, BB3 was aged slightly longer (12 months vs. 10 months) than BB1.
Because of the very small amount of this beer that was brewed, it will only be available at bars and restaurants. Your best bet for finding it is places that normally carry our beers. Also, watch Facebook and Twitter for announcements about where you can find it.

Shreveport has a restaurant that also owns a bottle shop, and they have been selling the bottles out of the bottle shop. Nice little loophole. Hopefully I can get some this time.

So take your medications and your preparations and ram it up your snout! Frank Zappa said that.

You Can Take Your Bourbon Barrel Stout and Ram It Up Your Snout! ZappasStache said that.

Agreed. I loved BB1. BB2 was good, but I wouldn't really make a big deal about it. Glad to see the BB3 will be similar to the first.

Disagree. DR13, Endeavour are better.

Pumpkinator is their best beer imo. Endeavor is too inconsistent.

I haven't tried DR13 yet, forgot about that one, and Endeavour fades far too quickly
