How are their turnaround times typically?

Was fast once I got the first engine in there. Had the old one out in a day and the new one torn apart the next day. I think they just got aggravated with it after the 2nd one was bad and just do it when they have time.

Ask them

After my last two trucks, I'm a firm believer in not fricking with them engine/performance wise.

My main issue right now is that my main mechanic did some work on it last week with the aftermarket stuff in there, as he has in the past. What he did and what I have on there shouldn't have coincided with each other. Well now that I get it back, it's in limp mode and not wanting to run right. I've used him for years an not saying he did anything wrong but I'm kinda stuck and it couldn't have happened at a worse time.

I shouldve gotten studs, but didn't want to spring for them. I shouldve not been pulling a dozer so fast. I shouldve put my programmer on the tow tune so it wouldn't have hit 62lbs of boost

I found a c1500 scsb Chevy with a v6 and 5spd low miles for not too much. Might go look at it this weekend.

Just don't think I can bring myself to buy a damn ca

the 4.3v6 in those trucks gets no better mileage than the 5.3...

Yea.

TTY hardware will never stop pissing me off.

Monkey, I realize that, but the closest one I found with a v8 and a standard was in Michigan IIRC

I'm driving around a v6 right now and it bothers me zero percent.

I have a very light right foot.

Maybe 18mpg at best on a 2500Hd with a chip and dpf delete. My 08 only got around 12 around town and 15 on the interstate. My new 2012 ford with urea injection gets 14-15 around town and 18-20 on the interstate. Definitely bullshite on the 29mpg

You're making me nervous just reading this EJW. My 05 duramax has 104k on it. It runs like a champ but the thought that I might have to throw $10k at it at any time scares me.

What did you have on and what did he do?

I had a buddy with a 7.3 that didn't know his truck was chipped when he bought it. Plugged up a programmer and royally screwed the pooch

Mine ran like a champ up until I took it in for a water pump 3 weeks ago.
