1. I have been pretty rough on him, and honestly how his pick is viewed will be out of his hands. If Jones turns out to be extremely good then we will view it as a waste. If none of our LBs pan out he will be considered a waste. Basically he has to be much better than Jones for me to consider him a good pick.

2. I dont think he is a game changer. Mostly because he wasn't in college and I don't see many aspects of his game that make him a super game changer. MAybe a scheme change will put him in better position, but I don't see it.

3. Apparently he is a bit of a retard off the field. He has a few misdemeanors for just being stupid. Getting arrested for a fight at the texas rec, and arrested for refusing to leave a line at t a pizza place. Just dumb stuff.

Wow... Just wow.

How the hell is he supposed to be "significantly better" than Jones. A guy who not only plays a different position but will also have a completely different role. Let me know when he reaches your particular level of greatness.

Like if jones sucks and does nothing and Kenny turns out to be a good consistent starter he is better. I JOnes is good but Kenny turns out to be a complete game changer pro bowler all pro type player.

Also their roles being different shouldn't matter. unless Kenny's role is so much less significant that it make no fricking sense to draft him at 15. if he plays the role of nickel back to perfection i would still rather you know someone who starts in a base defense. That being said i don't think that will be his role.

Who is a better player drew brees or Shonn Green? different positions still not a hard answer.

So if they're both probowlers it still isn'ta good pick in your eyes? You know being that both were developed by separate teams with separate defenses one of which is known for churning out olb after olb... You do realize that players perform differently in different systems with different coaching correct? Your original statement is incredibly crazy.

How was nincovich with the saints, how was Welker with the dolphins, how was Brian dlp with about 8 other teams?

So you think Jones will be one of the top players in the NFL while KV is a role player?

How about who is better, Robert Mathis or Ryan Clark?

yes i would rather have a probowl pass rusher over a pro bowl safety any day.

Remember as much credit as everyone is giving Troy Polamalu, James harrison was an equally important part of that defense.

Terrel Suggs is as important as Ed Reed.

Again. There is no guarantee that success in one system=comparable success in another.

Some of you are acting like the needy girlfriend who throws a week long bitch fit because you are expecting an engagement ring and get diamond earrings instead.

If vaccaro becomes a great player for us then it was absolutely a good pick.

NO, I think KV will be a solid starter and Jones will be a star.

I wouldn't say Either Clark or Mathis is better i would say what Mathis does is more important.

Sorry certain talent transcends scheme, but there isn't so much variation in 34 OLB responsibility that Jones would be a bust here but will be a monster in Pittsburg. If you can get after QB is it more or less universal.

You're gonna be one of those guys defending how underrated vaccarro is because even great safeties rarely make the same impact as great OLBs.

Plus it the offseason literally nothing else is going on. Maybe we can talk about something different than the saints 1st overall pick on the fricking saints board.

More like expecting a diamond ring and getting a ring pop

That's the difference in value. Pass rushers are a premium commodity. Average safeties (not even KV's biggest supporters think he's special) are not.

I scratched my head over the pick too. What I don't get is, how do all of you think you are smarter than CSP, Mickey, and RR though? Every pick is a gamble. If the rumors about Jones being lazy are true along with the neck issues, obviously they didn't want to take a chance on him. You take those big gambles in the later rounds, not the first.
