Confirmed it was eaten by a bear and they were fixin to leave. No visible signs on the front or back of the calf. They decided to skin the neck and found bruising then teeth marks. The tendon that held its neck up was into. It was really weird because no hair was missing.

I know some programs were started in western states where they were promoting the red wolf. It kept ranchers from killing wolves if they got some compensation for loss of livestock.

If Louisiana wants to promote the bear they better keep the ranchers happy.

No money!!! I live about a mile from Black Bear golf course and the new lake. Before the lake was built the highest concentration of black bears in Louisiana was were the lake is now. We are over run!!!

The sad thing is a rancher is gonna blast a bear for frickin with his livestock, and he's gonna get in trouble for it.

I sat and listened to a federal dyke at tensas nwr on hunting and fishing day tell people they only eat fruits and berries. No meat!!!
