It got more complex. Possibly even more sour. Very good now.

Puerto Rico is correct. No clue about Ms. They've gotten new stuff recently but I haven't heard any rumors of GREAT stuff.

I'm probably a bigger Ranger fan than most on here but you can't really compare Ranger to Hop Stoopid and Ruination

You either way overpaid for your Ranger bomber or got a great deal on the other two

5BD - Samuel Adams Lager

I'm on the plane now. Looks like I'm stuck with Bud Light or a whiskey.

Not comparing the three or I would have put ranger in the lineup. Ranger pretty much sucks though. Will pay 2-3$ more for a far superior beer. Just cause NB is new to Louisiana doesn't make it good.

Yep, 4 of us total. All of us off Friday so we may get there at 4 and really enjoy it.

Where we have for like a bar/grill type place afterwards? Beer and outside maybe?

Thinking walkons, only because the lafayette location has an extremely good beer selection. Probably the best in the city. Similar patio to the one in BR.

Shoot me an email and ill give you my cell number to get in touch with me. It's in a post to zealot earlier in the thread.

Just cracked open a bottle of Canebrake. I have 2 more after this one. Gonna kill 'em. Tomorrow after work I head to NOLA for the night, then in the morning I ride to begin my trip to Austin.

FBD - Karbach el Hopadillo Negro

This is a new offering from Karbach. It's good but not great.

i picked up two before a couple of guys told me I wouldn't like them. They will very likely sit for a few years before opening one. Not like they're going bad anytime soon.

Should go to festival international after. Bring some beer. They have alot of good food vendors there.

They also had a beer garden thing which was solid enough. Ill still be bringing my own mostly.

Eta: if y'all bead to festival ill share some beer. tteettuu23@gmail.com

FBD

Really fresh, has a nice hop bite. Kind of disappointed in a lack of tropical/fruit-ness that I've come to expect with beers like Heady and Pliny but nonetheless it's a great DIPA.
