I don't know if y'all remember my thread about buying my little flat boat, but here it is.

I've been in the market for a 25 to put on it, just for it to run a little faster. I found this yesterday.

I'm very interested in it, and called the guy yesterday about it. Only thing is it's a long shaft. Will it be too long for my flat? I've tried to do some research, but can't find deminsions for that motor anywhere online. TIA

Mostly rivers. A little marsh when I take it to fourchon, but I bought it to mostly stay on tangi river.

A quick search turns up a 15 and 20" shaft.

You won't like the longshaft. Thoase are typically for large boats where they're used only as kickers. Hold out for a short shaft....you'll find one.

Those particular merc 25s are TOUGH and very hard to come by.

I'd buy it and build your transom up to the height you want. They are very badass motors.
