Caan teams were talented but failed to live to hype that media would give them every year. NCAA violations were always hovering around.

Pacino was on his last leg when we meet him; long past his prime with an female know-it-all owner and an up-jump O-coordinator and He still took the sharks to the playoffs.

Pacino

Slight edge to Pacino

For the record, you forgot to include Robert Duvall. He was a 'football' coach in "A Shot at Glory"

Yea I googled him to see if he was in a football movie as well. I saddened to know it was a soccer movie instead

Pacino had actually won a couple titles. Caan was just a solid coach who had been around for a long time, like a poor man's Mark Richt.

We can go ahead and close this thread right now. It has reached its peak.
