It won't be. This is the Tiger (dash) Woods ammendment to the book. Nobody else will get this kind of treatment.

I agree and I find it hilarious that a hole that Tiger could have birdied ended up costing him many strokes.

Now I hope he wins. Then he'll have an asterisk to tarnish his record.

Rule has never been heard about until tiger needs it

Foul. Very very foul

Just because you never heard it, doesn't mean it wsn't there LOL.

I'm sure if the rule was never there before today, other golfers and golf guys would know, i have no clue what you're even trying to say.

If that was the case, Tiger wouldn't have gotten any penalty at all.

If he signed an incorrect card he should be DQed.

Rules don't get anymore simple.

I'm fine with the ruling but I disagree with this.

If you think Tiger is getting special treatment it doesn't have to mean they would have just let him off the hook completely.

This is basically the Padraig Harrington rule. .. there is a rule instituted in 2012 that covers a 2-shot penalty for called in violations

Rule was "retroactively" instituted in 2012.

Anybody else - and they're DQ'd - Radio is calling it the "Tiger 2013 rule."

Which is how it should anyways, sports is entertainment - people want to see Tiger...Masters ain't stupid.

Lets be honest here. The "incorrect scorecard" is not the result of accidentally penciling in a 3 when he got a 4. It is because HE BROKE THE RULES. So he can break the rules but because he wasn't "aware" of it, it's okay.

I'm sorry, officer. I didn't realize that I couldn't steal. But it's okay. The item I stole wasn't on my receipt.
