You guys know that I am at least a full level of sophistication below everyone else on The F&DB - perhaps not worthy of more than your ridicule. If that is the case, why not just log off and go to the peanut butter in gumbo roux thread quickly before I insult you any more that I already have by deciding to post tonight?

I love Sam's

They have lots of stuff I really like - 40 roll packs of soft Charmin toilet paper (better than the strong variety) and 82 inch Samsung HDTVs. Also 18 pound bags of Basmati rice, 6 head bags of Romaine lettuce and two rack vac packs of baby back pork ribs with 2 pound jars of whole cashew nuts to add to my rice, chicken and brown chinese gravy. They have the chicken, too. The brown chinese gravy is a top secret recipe I learned from a Chinese guy while in a foreign country on a non top secret business trip.

Tonight's dinner (supper? I can't remember what F&DB calls the evening meal) was nice and cooked by the wife (MHNBPF) while I was napping in my recliner to a thrilling MLB game on the flatscreen.

The fish is Sam's Parmesan Crusted Talipia, which is a really tasty fish patty that is nice for a quick meal or a fish sandwich. The baked potato ($2.38 for 10 pounds of Russet spuds at Sam's) is just the right size for an old guy who can easily eat more calories of potato than he needs if not very careful and most of the salad came from Sam's (Romaine lettuce, walnuts, oranges, celery, strawberries, and probably other healthy Sam's stuff I forget).

The wife's citrus vinigrette:

1/4 cup fresh squeezed orange juice, 2 Tablespoons Balsamic Vinegar, two Tablespoons olive oil, salt, black pepper, 2/3rds of a pinch of sugar, 1 Tablespoon honey and 1 1/2 tsp creole mustard (Zataran's). Whisk together like you mean it and enjoy.

For those who don't know, this is how the common man lives!

I love Sam's. I save a pretty ridiculous amount of money shopping there and I REALLY LOVE the self-checkout lines. I don't know why I waited until last year to start shopping at Sam's.

I haven't given in yet, but that pizza always smells pretty good as I leave the store.

Their chickens look like mutants compared to other stores. Maybe they are. If so, mutants taste pretty good.

The wife (MHNBPF) and I can both eat (2 dogs - mustard on mine, mustard and kraut on her's, 2 chips and 2 drinks for less than $5.00) No one can say I don't treat her like a princess!

I have never tried the pizza because I could not stand having two menu items at Sam's that I like as much as the Hot Dog and Chips meal deal.

I avoid the pizza out of self preservation and respect for those who will want some pizza after I leave.

Sam's Rotesserrizeried chicken is the best chicken value anywhere. I'd hate to meet one of them (live and angry) in a dark alley.

Even though I am a government trained killer, I'm ot sure how I would protect myself.

Probably Walmart - about 40 years ago. Corningware is good stuff.

Salad bowls came from an antique auction somewhere in Alabama, sometime in the past. The only thing I can say is if the Mennonite ladies were there running concessions, they had good chicken salad sandwiches, cookies and browneys the day we bought them.

I pull for the people ahead of me to get the Pizza. It takes those women way to long to wrap up those dogs.

BTW, it there a real difference between the Polish and reg. dog?

My wife is a beautiful lady who is the best blessing God ever gave to me. She is the joy of my life, mother of my sons, my help mate, the smartest person I have ever known, educated, intelligent, funny, Godly and the one I would want to take my back in a life or death situation.

With God as my witness, May Her Name Be Praised Forever.

I think yes. We always get the regular Dog at Sam's I keep saying when I am in NYC I will get a Nathan's Dog to see if they are as good up there. However, we always eat somewhere better than Nathan's when we go there.

I do not know this Bob Breck person you mention.

I have a cousin named Bob. He lives outside of Tupelo. However, his last name is not Breck so I am thinking no.
