I would be lying if I didn't say that I want one every time we go.

They arent. I was actually a little disappointed in NYC dogs. I dont think sams hot dogs can be beaten. If only they could find a way to get chili/cheese/onions to the party then It would be in my top 5 foods of all time.

Loving Sam's is nothing to be ashamed of, MeridianDog. I love the place. The amount I save on toilet paper, paper towels, and dog food is enough to justify the membership.

Though since is the food and drink board, I will opine on the pizza. It truly is delicious in all the ways a cheap floppy slice of pizza should be. Next time, give it a try.

I love mine with mustard. If I had one with chili and mustard slaw, I'm not sure I could stand it.

I tried to buy a box of the Nathan's dogs a while back and found you have to order them special and they come in a week later. The box contains maybe 144 dogs. The wife said no way.

We use Viva (Kleenex brand) paper towles because the Wife likes them. We really don't use paper plates all that often. I have no idea where the wife buys them, but the stack in the cabinet is too short to have come from Sam's.

I take a to go cup of coffee with me when I leave for work each morning and drink it while motoring up the highway. Those 20 oz go-cups and caps come from Sam's.

Man, I love coffee!

Loving Sam's

Some folks love hating Sam's. Not me. Not ashamed of it either.

At the moment I can think of nothing I am ashamed of. My life is pretty complete. Maybe ashamed of my poor Lottery number selection skills. Definite room for improvement there.

I grew up on elementary school fish sticks every Friday.

Sam's Fish Patties are good fish. They really make a nice fish sandwich too. Burger bun, fish, tomato, lettuce, Mayo, Diet Dr. Pepper.

Nice

I tried that basmati rice and it tasted like diesel. Steaks, baby back ribs are good. Good prices on veggies and the large roll of heavy duty foil

Sorry.

I think it has a hint of popcorn taste.

Didn't cook your rice in the pan you use to rinse out the wheel bearings from your bass boat trailer did you?

Yes, we buy all of our steaks from Sam's - Best place in Meridian to buy meat.

Does the Pope wear white Jockey Shorts?

At the Meridian Sam's the brand is State Fair (I think). IMO, if there is a Sysco anywhere near you, you might want to call them and see what brand they sell. State Fair Brand batter is a little sweeter than I like.

That's just me.

I plan on working at WallyWorld when I retire.

My goal is to work in Sporting goods, selling fishing licenses and fishing lures.

I hate to sound like a braggart, but I know a lot about catching fish.

Take it from an ex walmart manager, you probably dont want to work in sporting goods at wally world or indeed any part of wally world anymore. Gone are the days of the two avid sportsmen who wear the light brown vests and sell guns and talk about fishing. Nowadays sporting goods associates work sports, auto, hardware, and sometimes toys. 10 years ago that was a prime outdoorsmans retirement job. Not so much anymore.

Yeah my paw in law is pretty handy setting jugs and trot lines. I took him and my two bro in laws fishing here in Calcasieu lake one day. We were catching trout and a few reds. Well paw in law caught a few croakers and threw them in the box. His sons said Dad, quit keeping those damn croakers, we don't eat that. Ole paw in law looked at them and said, You boys grew up eating croakers
