Mixed emotions. Cars 2 was drivel, but Toy Story 3 was better than the first. I don't think Dory is a good stand-alone character.

Searched the board for Dory, no hits, so GFY.

Hated the movie. Seems like "dory" was one of the more quoted characters.

Meh about this. Didn't care for Dory that much in the first one and I'd much rather see Pixar focus on original stories rather than sequels (even though TS3 was great).

Is this separate from Finding Nemo 2 or is this that sequel?

I'm thinking Dory will have limited screen time. Nemo and friends looking for her type thing

TS3 got a best picture nomination. Albeit, it was in the first "expanded" (fancy word for marketing) list of nominees, but still.

Andrew Stanton catches so much undeserved shite for John Carter.

I've never seen it, just because of the people on this board.

Pay cable must agree, because it gets zero play.

Ya, people just shite on it because it did bad at the theaters, but I've seen much worse and I'm not even a fanboy of the source material. Actually had no idea what it was going to be about.

Basically, to me, it seemed like your average sci-fi movie. Nothing too crazy or dumb about its direction to justify the shitfest.

I've found that as I've gotten older, my enjoyment of a movie is directly related to my expectations going in.

I might see it just for the hell of it, but I keep picturing 10,000 Years BC every time I see the trailer.

I liked TS3 but it is no classic like Toy Story.

Don't worry, its definitely somewhere between that terrible movie and Alien.

Oh I disagree completely. Not denying the classic stature of TS, but TS3 was superb in every way. Classic in its own separate right IMO.
