All Jerry Jones had to do was swallow his ego shut up and let Jimmy Johnson do his thing and just sit back and enjoy the ride. Now he is the owner of a laughing stock.

IMO he is NOT a top ten NFL QB...

Arguable. I have him anywhere from 8-12 depending on mood, but I'm pretty sure that means there are quite a few who aren't nearly as good, right?

Pretty sure that's just you, Peej I'm sure the "experts" will rightly predict, again, that Dallas will be a near .500 team this season. Just as they have for some time now...

The market is fricked up now for QBs. I would rather have Romo than some of the pigs coming out in this draft. This is the new CBA. They took away all the rookie money and now it's going to the vets.

Most experts always peg Dallas as a middle of the road team the last few years. Romo is definitely in the 6-10 QB range depending on what you value more out of your QB. Romo can win you a Superbowl at QB; his OL is the bigger problem.

As a Cowboy hater I like those odds. If you as a fan have him pegged no better than 8th there's a good chance one of the 7 ahead of him is going to have a lot better supporting cast so they won't be winning any Super Bowls while he's there.

Pretty good bet since they've only won one or two playoff games in 15 years

But Romo hasn't been there that long, and while he's has his moments of awful, I blame the only guy who has: Jones.

Don't mind Peej...the hate is as strong in that one as his delusion.

I am a pretty big cowboy hater but Romo is not as bad as people make him out to be. Bad o-line and sub par defense has killed the cowboys. Having said that this contract is stupid.

I'm not going back and reading all of this BS but y'all do realize this was a cap friendly deal, right? It's not like he was going to sign a 3 year deal for less money per year.
