In Southern New Mexico - A tradition at every Cafe - and an absolute "Hangover Killer". Any followers around here?

Worked at a "Mexican" restaurant throughout high school (of course it was owned by Hondurans, who were awesome), and pretty much had that every Saturday and Sunday morning for breakfast for about three years.

Surrey's has them on their brunch menu
also Brandito's in St. Roch

Yes. Even better was Huevo's con Tamale. I wish Huevo's didn't close down in Nola.

Two pulled pork tamales, two poached eggs and tomatillo salsa on top.

At these places, in New Mexico, I was fortunate to have an interpreter. Pretty rustic, and authentic. I suppose it has been "Bastardized" in many upscale places, now.

Love it. Ate it once a week when I lived in Houston. You can find it in NOLA.

I've never been to Surrey's. that's right near me. I'll walk there Saturday to get rid of my hangover.

Im not a fan. I prefer machacado, chilaquiles/migas.
