Poor journalism!
First of the vent shaft was 2 meters not 2 feet.
Anakin only built the translation droid, he had nothing to do with the R2 units construction.
He also states that Vader was in command of the Deathstar, another fabrication. Grand Admiril Moth Tarkin not only was in command of the battle station, by all reports he outranked Lord Vader since he appears to have given commands to Anakin that were followed.
Don't listen to this fool's story he is obviously one of those crazy conspiracy theorist.
