As to "every day" it depends on how hot, rain, etc. They're made up of a high percentage of water.

40 tomatoes, 20 or so peppers of different kinds, 2 60 ft rows of potatoes, about 40 cucumbers, dozen squash, dozen zucchini, assortment of silly stuff my daughter picked out (eggplant, watermelon, cantelopes, couple strawberry plants). Tomatoes went in about 2 weeks ago, everything else went in over the next 6-10 days or so.

That's divided amongst 2 gardens. One at home, the other at the camp. My pop cares to the camp one, so I guess that one is his. All I have at the house is tomatoes, cucumbers, and the girls' stuff.

Transplanted seedlings (tomatoes, peppers, eggplants, artichokes) to pots a couple of weeks ago, so I'll plant out in a couple of weeks. Will add squash, cukes, okra and corn from the co-op then.

Tomatoes (creole and grape), peppers (bell, jalapeno, banana), basil, cucumbers, spaghetti squash, and sugar snap peas.

most of the winter garden is now out and have planted a little bit so far. However have to get the lime truck back to the dove field before I go heavy on the garden this year.
So far I have about 30 squash, 20 cucumber, 15 egg plant, and about 100 tomato plants in. This is all an estimate too much ground to count plants.

Corn is legit. Only thing is you can only get 2 ears per plant usually...
Actually, to have the best yield you should pinch the second ear and let the plant devote all work towards one ear.
If gardening this is possible, but if you have a couple of hundred acres not so much...

I'll try this one. Last year I only had one plant. May try three this year and see if one is better for my conditions than the others. Also I working in more organic into the soil, so it should hold water at the roots better. And I can dam up the trenches on the side of the rows and hold some water there.

Bump since I was about to start thread, but searched first, found this one.
We had tomatoes, peppers plants and eggplants planted two weeks ago and lost only 3 plants out of 20 during the cold nights.
Carrots and swiss chard planted then too and rolling fine.
Squash, zuccs, sweet corn, okra, cucumbers, more tomatoes planted yesterday and today.
Citrus trees (plums, tangerines, peaches, lemons, manderines, and blueberries) planted today.
More peppers and eggplant to put in tomorrow and we're done.

Faired pretty well from freeze, cucumbers are very sluggish, eggplants, squash, zucs and maters are starting to make a move. I've still got to put beans in ground and transplant my peppers, they are only a few inches tall. Still have a couple bushels of carrots in ground, maybe Easter bunny will eat them all tonight.

Pulled up two 5-gallon bucket full of baby carrots.
We got those because we planted in an area that didn't get enough sun during the winter.
Pure accident, but kinda cool having the ready made dip carrots.
Hoping to get full size carrots this spring. Will need to get lucky with weather though. We planted late for spring carrots.

I like bush. 
I'm doing black bean also this year. I stagger my planting a couples weeks on the beans so they don't all come in at the same time.

Planted my mater seeds about 3 weeks ago. Just moved em to the ground today. Hopefully they'll take off soon.

Got most of mine in now. Saved my one cherokee purple tomato from the freeze. Really happy about that because I've never tasted a better tomato than that. Got a bunch of celebrities and bell peppers in right now. Will fill it out with jalapeno's and tobasco, cucumbers and something else that I haven't made my mind up on yet.

Got tomatoes, potatoes, squash,cucumbers, Contender Bush beans,and Lima beans in the ground. Planting about 250 ft of Floriani Red Flint Corn today along with bell peppers, Cubanelle Peppers, Tabasco peppers and Purple Hull Peas.
