She's definitely a bad girlfriend if that's the two choices she gave you.

I know chains get hate but I had a damn solid ribeye and caesar salad at Roadhouse in Beaumont a few weeks back. Maybe a tad salty but still hit the spot and hit it good.

As far as chains go, I find Texas Roadhouse to be pretty good. The bread is great and always like to go pick out the steak I want.

Texas Roadhouse makes a good chili too. You can get it as one of your sides.

just got back... got the ribeye, wasnt great, wasnt bad, it was exactly what i was expecting for a $15 14 oz steak. didnt find the bread to be good at all. final bill for the both of us was $32. for how much i ate i cant complain at all.

however, the outlaw Ribeye at Longhorn steakhouse is amazing for the price, really good steak anywhere, but for the price its amazing.

if im in the mood for steak and a TR is in the area, I will look for a longhorn first and then settle for the TR.

but i wasnt disappointed, thanks for the recommendations

Yep. I get it a lot.

Usually get it to come out before my meal though. It's a solid place to get a good meal that won't break the bank.

Very surprised you weren't a huge fan of Roadhouse. The few i've been too were amazing.

I got ribs from Longhorn one time and they were great.

Texas Roadhouse's ribs were too tender. You can't even bite into them without pulling the rib off the bone. I like to be able to take a bite into a tender rib but can still pull away, holding onto the rib.

Their steaks are really good but the one here in Lake Charles tends to overcook them so I always ask them to not overcook it. As long as I do that, no complaints.
