In the last month I have read Suspect by Robert Craiss, Kitchen Confidential by Bourdain, Ready Player One by Ernest Cline, No Easy Day by Mark Owens, Delivering Happiness by Tony Hsieh and Fearless by Eric Blehm. I've also recently finished Old Man's war Trilogy and all 7 books of Wool.

whatcha got for me?

Just finished Warded Man, Desert Spear, and The Daylight War by Peter V. Brett. Pretty good series. Easy read. What are the 7 books of Wool?

its a series by Hugh Howey. takes place in an underground silo after the world has gone to shite. very interesting read about the survival of humanity. The first five can be purchased together here. He recently released 1st Watch and 2nd Watch and they are prequels to the first 5. someone recommended it to me on this board and its been one of my favorite series i've ever read.

Didn't know Daylight was out. Warded and Spear are really good. I actually think those are books that would make fantastic movies.

Daylight just came out. I was thinking that myself. Only thing is it seems like you would have to wait until the series is complete to do a movie. So much jumping around in the time line to get other characters point of view.

Pretty much humanities fight against demons. Takes place in the dark ages. Many critics place the writer and this series in same category as George R R Martin and Robert Jordan.

I started the Foundation Serra again. Haven't read these books since high school. I have a new found respect for te series since I am older now.

Also, I recommend using the overdrive app for ebooks. It allows you to check out ebooks from your library. Works great!

Not to hijack the thread, but I also would like some book recommendations for my beach trip next week.

I'm particularly interested in something about a drug experience or something from the 60s movement.

Also, something similar to the TV show Mad Men.

Any suggestions?
