A former NFL defensive player of the year would have no problem joining the New Orleans Saints as former Steelers outside linebacker James Harrison would "love to be in New Orleans," according to his agent Bill Parise.

"The Saints would be a great fit," Parise said Sunday afternoon.

He would be a great addition and I would be all for releasing Smith and picking him up for a couple years on the cheap to moderate.

Nice. All depends on what they are asking money wise. Seems like this is a real possibility.

All about his asking price. We'll likely have some money to work with even after signing a LT, but it won't be too much. It may be a choice of him or 2-3 cheaper guys.

Hed love to be wherever pays the most money

He was giving Brady and the Pats love after all his butthurt about Spygate the past couple years

I think this weekend hit him down to reality. He didnt take a pay cut down to about 6 million with the steelers because he was sure he could get more somewhere else, dont think thats happening.

Loved to have him, but he'll be to 'spensive.

Two different positions.

Would be a good compliment of strength to go with Galette/Wilson's speed

Harrison would be a proven pass rusher.

Could be wrong but I think he just meant money wise release Smith and use some of that money to snag him, and replace a defensive leader with a defensive leader.

I agree he would be a nice compliment to Galette/Wilson and definitely a proven guy.

You have to question how much he has left but he's definitely an improvement over pretty much every lb except for maybe Lofton if he still has some gas.

But I wouldn't break the bank on the guy.

Harrison isn't a Patriot.

I'd love for this to happens cause I still feel he has a decent amount in the tank. Could you imagine the amount of memes/jokes this signing would create?

From one black and gold to another if we get him to go along with Tez and Galette to provide some experience, I would be all for moving back and picking up a second rounder.

I'll let it slide. He made his point known while only taking a subtle jab at Galette and Wilson.
