Listening to Longhorn radio here in Austin and they are discussing possibly serving beer in their stadium. The local host read off 22 schools (all small conference) that serve beer and said recently LSU decided to allow beer sales??? Is this true????

Probably only if you're a TAF member.....

I seriously doubt that will happen. Probably just Longhorn propaganda to try to make it happen for them.

As much as I like beer, I certainly hope not.

In club section aka the purple seats yes, everywhere else no. I think in suites they don't even sell it though you can bring it or order or Into your suite

The SEC will one day allow it if the chips start falling across the country.

Right now Texas has to do so out of necessity because it's such a boring stadium, fanbase, team, and conference.

Would you be excited if your biggest home game of the year is in Dallas and every other game is some directional school instate? Texas has about as much to offer as any other university but they need a conference like pretty much everyone else. And right now, their schedule and team makes them a chore to watch.

I'm pretty sure they sell it in the suites. I heard they get away with it because its technically not connected to the stadium.

I would love to see how many kegs Tiger Stadium could go through in a season.

You're not paying for it in the suites. But you pay for it in the stadium club.

The suites are not connected to tiger stadium so they are technically part of the stadium, it's a separate building so they can serve whatever they want.

How much more money would this bring to LSU? I would think at least an extra $350k per game
