Bowtech Destroyer 350, and a Spott Hogg sight. The rest is up to you.

How bout arrows and all extra's? I need some shite to practice with. I work in s. tx & have a lot of time to dick off. I've never really shot a bow, so I guess I have 5 or 6 months to get ready. Want some deady shite.

If my 15yr old $150 bow ever stops shooting, I would look hard at Matthews or Hoyt.

Catch a Mathews, if you can.

What can I expect for a top notch set up $1500-$2000?

I shoot a Mathews. I will never own anything else, but that's just my personal bias. I've burned a many of nanny with my Reezen.

Oh, and you don't have to buy tomorrow. October 1st is a long way out. Put in some time and see what you like.

I'm still toting a Q2 from 2002 and can shoot the count hairs off of a gnat's arse inside of 35 yds.

Set a max price, shoot every bow in that range, and pick one.

Nobody makes bad bows anymore.

Get a Mathews if you want to spend that much, but don't turn into a Mathews dude. They are absolutely intolerable to bow shop guys.

If I were buying today it'd probably be s Hoyt Carbon Element.

Mathews are good, but you pay a premium for the name. PSE, Bear, and BowTech all make great bows too.

Go to a good archery shop and shoot a few to see what you like.

Mathews Chill.

I'll have one in a few weeks. They are sick.
