cabela's or bass pro in BR for the best prices this weekend?

I can only stop at one on the way to nola. which one should it be if all I'm looking for is hunting and a little fishing stuff?

Bass pro isn't really on the way to New Orleans and neither are in Baton Rouge...so there's that to consider.

Cabelas. They are more geared towards hunting while BPS has a better fishing selection.


Prices are pretty high at each. Cabelas is right off of I10. So there is that to consider also.

Cabelas had very cheap prices last week on rapala baits. Some were as cheap as 3 or 4 bucks.

Bass pro always surprises me at how small there hunting selection is. Especially for waterfowl gear.

Saw bass pro was having their annual spring fishing sale and reel trade in days starting tomorrow, I believe. Might have to wonder over there Saturday to see if I can find any deals. Will probably only offer me $10 towards purchase of $200 reel though.

Saw something hanging in front of Cabelas about spring savings. But yeah, BPS better for fishing, Cabelas better for hunting.
