TWIC Card Holders - "Delay" status when purchasing a firearm @ TigerDroppings.com

TigerEye2 LSU Fan Prairieville Member since Aug 2011 147 posts	TWIC Card Holders - "Delay" status when purchasing a firearm (Posted on 2/21/13 at 10:05 am) I have a TWIC card and everytime a purchase a firearm i get the "delay" status. Any other TWIC'ers expereince this? I was told 99% of TWIC card holders experience the "delay" due to the elevated level of checks required to obtain a TWIC.

I get the Mrs to buy guns & they never delay her

I have never had a delay. Have probably purchased 5-6 guns since having a TWIC card. I am also in TX so I don't know if that makes a difference.

Was told because of this level of inquiry into one's background tends to cause delays in instant checks.

I asked my counter guy why am I always put on hold?
