I've had a TWIC card for 4 years and have only been delayed once, it was fairly recent, and was not the time after. So 1 time in the 4 transactions I've had in the time I've had my card. Not bad, I guess.

I haven't bought one since my TWIC but will expect a delay. The plant I'm in now has there own background check that is just as stringent as TWIC. I'm sure that wont help either.
