his scoring has exceeded expectations i think...if anything, his rebounding and blocks numbers have been a little disappointing (only because of what he did at UK).

...but it looks like he's on pace to do big things in all three of those categories

on a random side note, vasquez is averaging 9.5 assists per game

CP3 9.4

Not saying he is better obviously, just stating the facts

no chance he's better, but he's damn good...Demps' best move, imo.

I think its hilarious when people say he'll never lead us to a championship as a PG averaging 9.5 assists per game that takes up so little cap space

yep...and people say he'd be a great backup. no shite.

...he's not looking to be a backup though, and other teams will want him as a starter.

dumb to question his ability as a pg running an offense.

fair to question his defense and how he copes with SG/SF guarding him that negates his size and is quick enough to stay in front of him.

i agree, but many starting caliber players have questionable parts of their game.

(i know you're a Vasquez fan now, corndeaux )

im happy if they keep him. but his flaws are definitely things they have to think about when building the team.

they need to figure out how to punish teams for putting a 2 or 3 on him- probably more off ball work/spot up shooting.

on defense they need to start hiding him on non threatening 2s and 3s. interested to see if aminu has the quickness to keep up with pgs better than Vasquez

ya...let Gordon/Player X muscle the PG and have Vasquez spot up for 3 (hopefully he continues improving in that department).

that's a good idea...I don't if Aminu could guard quick PGs, and I don't think he is gonna be here next season.
