Just asking the question. The #1 overall pick. Is he so far? Yes or No?

Let him add some muscle to his frame and get some games to his belt. Calm down.

No.

Speaking purely about his talent level he has surpassed expectations because his offense is ahead of where many thought it'd be.

I think his motor is a disappointment. Some of his best games have come after some physical altercation with the opposing team seems to wake him up. I think Jason Smith and Roger Mason need to start slapping him around in pregame.

What would lead you to ask this question? He's not even of age to buy alcohol, yet he is a freak athlete on the court. Once he gets a little bigger and more comfortable with the game, he'll be lights out. It's very rare to find players that come into the league and have stellar seasons especially big men. He also plays in the toughest conference. Dirk, LaMarcus, Gasol/Howard, Randolph, Gasol and Duncan just to name a few guys he goes head-to-head with, and he still has the most double-doubles of any rookie. I am disappoint

No, he's an overgrown kid playing a man's game at this point. His overall numbers are damn good, but he is prone to disappearing at times, but I think a lot of that comes back to his youth.

AD is future big time star. First of all, you have to consider the position he plays PF/C. Tougher transition than, say, a guard. Plus, like everyone said, he's got some growing to do. I don't think he's been a disappointment at all.

Absolutely not.

Anyone hear John Barry last night talk about AD warming up like a guard. Added that when he puts it all together he will be a serious talent.

Apparently T-rob is though

Should probably trade him to save money for a run at Al Jefferson and Josh Smith this summer. I hear all the smart teams are trading top 5 picks these days.

Not a disappointment but he's leaving a lot of room for improvement for sure.

No,
He's had a good rookie season, He has shown flashes of what he could be. As he continues to grow he is going to be a great player in this league.

No. He's actually exceeded my expectations. There's always an uncertainty how a "big man" in college will translate to the NBA when he doesn't have NBA size. His offense and overall skill set will allow him to be successful despite his lack of size. And plus, he's played the whole year. A disappointment is Greg "dick pic" Oden.

All valid points and I do agree with all of them. I guess I should have added my comments as well.

I do agree that is he very young. Has some growing to do as far as weight and getting stronger. The upside is through the roof and his future is extremely bright. It does appear that he is running out of gas but I guess when you are thin like he is and getting banged around by the big men in the NBA, that will do it to you.
