French Market Bistro on Highland. Don't tell anybody though. I've gone here probably 4 of the last 7 years, and I'm not one to go out on busy restaurant days, but this place makes it easy.

They keep the full menu open, reasonably priced(usually get the fish special), easy in/out and not usually booked the week leading in to VD.

This isn't for me, someone was asking for a good spot to eat at, and its for a family, not a date

Oh...yeah. French Market Bistro isn't the answer then.

any decent place has been booked for atleast a month. IMO this is one of the worst days of the year to eat out.

Does such a place even exist? If you're bringing the family go to Sammy's or Dempsey's.

Nagoya buffet was the first thing to pop into my head. Unless the family is full of extremely picky eaters, they should be able to find something they like, especially with the hibachi. The reason I'm recommending this place though is because they'll probably be able to get in.

Another interesting situation is that if it's a larger party, sometimes restaurants will have a large table available because they are catering to mostly two people.
