Greg Oden will be offered 2 year contract

Oden is living and rehabbing in Columbus, about 140 miles away from Cleveland. He's met with both the Cavs and Celtics recently. Teams will wait until after the trade deadline so they can maximize cap space, but expect plenty of more interest to pop up. Despite chronic knee woes that have limited him to 82 games over the last five seasons, Oden remains 7'0/270. The Cavs' deal would reportedly include a team option for a third year, maximizing reward while limited risk.

Rooting like crazy for the guy. Such an incredible talent if he could just stay on the floor (not at all likely at this point).

I'd like the Cavs to give him a shot. The guy was starting to put up decent numbers in his 2nd year coming off knee surgery. I'll be rooting for him regardless of where he ends up.
