Affordable gun safe recommendations

I’m sure this has been discussed before!
Looking for an affordable gun safe. I’m not sure if I want fire proof or not. I’m looking for one that will hold at least 14 and has carpet on the inside. Looks like average cost are 600-800... any quality safe options for less? Appreciate any insight.

I'm looking for one too but I need one that holds probably 20+ shotguns and fireproof as some are really valuable
Shits ridiculously expensive though

Liberty makes a 20 min fire resistant that holds somewhere between 14 and 20 for right around $500.

None are fireproof, but some claim to be better at protecting from it. Mesa has a good fire rating and they aren't too costly.

I have a Liberty Lincoln 50. It's a boss.

I have a different idea. Instead of a small safe that isnt really good at anything, why not a metal medical cabinet. They are strong and sturdy and will probably just be as safe as a, well, safe.
This will hold many more guns, not fire proof, and no dial lock. But heres the thing, those small cheap safes, the sides are the weak points. Thieves know this. They take an axe and will open it up like a soup can in minutes. The door aint shite. Just an idea.

I bought a cannon scout a few years ago at Academy for around 350 I think. It's small, maybe 12-14 guns, buts it has a decent fire rating. I'll get a bigger one sooner or later, but in my current house I really don't have room for anything bigger.

I watched all 27 minutes and 27 seconds. Very informative. That dude knows his shite and I usually dont like to watch long videos like that but you leave this one with something. Good to know.

Excellent video -- watched it a couple of days ago.
I wish I had seen it a few years ago before I bought mine -- wudda bought a Fort Knox.
