Going to be in town for the Super Bowl and had a friend tell me that I have to go there for the BBQ Shrimp Po-Boy. He said it is "stupid good" (his words)and the best Po-Boy in NOLA. Should I try it or is he exaggerating.

I've never been a particularly big fan. I think Avery's on Tulane has a better BBQ shrimp (albeit its in a miserable neighborhood). Parkway is a much better experience overall but they dont have BBQ shrimp. If you've never had one before though, I'm sure Liuzza's by the Track will be fine

ETA: Not even near the best po boy overall in New Orleans

Go to Katie's or the original Liuzza's. Both better options.

I personally do not get the love for this poboy, but everyone has different tastes.

Yes, it is really good. They have good gumbo, too.

I really like this place. I like it better than Parkway and it is a good corner bar atmosphere. I recommend it.
