JJ has career highs in just about every category this year. He's an undersized SG, going up against the most athletic player on the court most nights. I didn't think he was worthy of a 1st round pick, much less a lottery pick. The guy has proved me wrong every step of the way....

Jrue Holliday- thought it was an awful pick considering he didnt do that much his freshman season at UCLA. Evidently Howland was holding him back

Yeah, that is another great pick. Jrue had an awful freshman season. We now know why.

biggest wtf guy the past 5 years

For starters, getting drafted number 4 overall at 23 years old is pretty odd.

I remember a lot of people wondering why OKC chose Westbrook over Jerryd Bayless and Brook Lopez.

da fuk?

faried is 3 years older than kanter and regressed this year. he's also really short for his position (which is why he didn't go that high. it has nothing to do with his school)

kanter has legit size for his position and is only 20. he also had a nice improvement this past year

I thought Morrison would be a superstar

I didn't think Kyrie Irving would be this good, especially this quickly

JJ Redick - 11th overall pick I hated this pick and thought he would be a huge bust in the league. Really impressed with his work ethic and success, despite his lack of size & athleticism. Some team is going to pay him a lot of money this summer.

JJ is the man. He has improved every year just like he did in college. He played at Duke, of course he will work extremely hard and be very coachable. I have never seen a pure shooter at the college level be able to take over a game like he could just from his jump shot. Set the NCAA record for most 3s in college with 457....stop fenwick you'll make your man crush on JJ obvious. Dont worry Battier, I have room for two man crushes.

He's my favorite basketball player of all time. I can understand why he was hated by many in college, but unless you're the most juvenile Maryland fan, you have to admire how hard he's worked to expand his game so he could survive in NBA. You can tell how much his early struggles humbled him and how much of a better player he is as a result.

Anthony Randolph - he was so silky smooth at LSU, thought he would be an all-star by year 4.

Rajon Rondo - I think he was a completely average player at UK. Boy was I wrong.

these stats have decreased from last year to this year:

FG%
FT%
TS%
p/40
r/40
a/40
b/40

his PER has decreased by more than 3 points

again, he's already 23. he's towards the end of his developmental curve

many players now are developing into their late 20s.

Now my picks:

Good: Derrick Williams- I knew he was going to suck.
Bad- several but I'll go with Beasley- if he gave 2 fricks he'd be All-NBA. Rebounding is often referred to as a skill that a player doesn't lose on the next level. Beasley is the exception.
