Yikes......last time I touched Tulane was against that awful UTEP team and it cost me a shot at a 11 team parlay.......not sure if I want to stick my hand to that hot stove again.

Some notes...
I stayed up pretty late last night making my system as automated as possible. I think the changes should lead to better results -- less judgment on my part. Making it more automated and quitting the twitter and blog should make it less burdensome.
Only playing the totals and tailing dg has taken some of the fun out of gambling lately. I'm going to bring back sides and be pickier about what is the threshold for being a play or not.
Yesterday was the one month anniversary of the system totals; they picked up over 55 units in the month. Probably could have been better if not for this past weekend's trip and me having almost no time to cap between Christmas and New Years.
I'm interested to see what dg and I can do combined between now and 2/22. Call it our own joint-venture TD version of 30 units in 30 days (but we promise not to start charging for picks after that
).
The improved system has the same premise, but is quite different. I'm going to wipe my record clean and see how it does in the next month, then I'll merge the records.
Current YTD..
totals: 111-76-8 (59.4%), +55.6 units
sides: 52-46-3 (53.1%), +1.5 units

I should note, the system is similar to the old one but it is different.
I'm not sure how big of a difference in results there will be between 1 unit and 2 unit plays...

Built off the old one. I noticed teams with shitty defenses had been killing my system. Defensive efficiency and FTs allowed are now more of a factor than before.
As for sides, I will only play 1Qs and 1Hs before the game and 3Qs and 2Hs for in-games. I doubt anyone remembers besides me, but sides used to either nail games or completely whiff on them (i.e., go 3-0 or 0-3 in a game). It made the good nights great and the bad ones disastrous.
Sides are very similar to what they used to be, but home-court is factored more heavily and public consensus plays a role now (i.e., backing off a square bet).

And if you're wondering why I released early, take a look at the Cavs 1H line now. I thought that game smelled like RLM even before the RLM took place.
Also, I expect Pistons -5 to settle at -5.5.
