Questions for people that canceled cable. (Posted on 1/21/13 at 2:39 pm)
How do you people remember what shows come on what nights and when? It seens without my DVR i would not know when shows come on and i would forget to watch episodes. Does the Ruku,ATV, what ever other device you have, have an alert system to tell you a new episode is online?

I use a similar app to the one mentioned above called series guide. I just plug in what I normally watch and it tells me when there are new episodes. Seriously, I don't miss a beat for real. I may forget about a show and then go back and watch it but with work I usually just leave most of my shows for the weekend which is what I was doing anyways with the DVR.
That app I mentioned above has a widget that shows me on my homescreen which shows are about to come up so I rarely even have to go into the app.

thats what im talking about. a dvr screen like widget.
