I got 640 rounds this am for .29 a round at Academy, the one guy I know that needs it says thats all he is buying for now

I was hesitant on whether it was live inventory or not and how reliable the company was. I'll know to trust it next time.

The online ammo checking link for Walmart showed that they had some .223 Tulammo in stock at the Oneal lane location. So of course I ran out this morning, and low and behold they didn't have any.
I am guessing that the walmart inventory levels aren't a great indicator of stocking levels at Baton Rouge area Walmarts.

Usually its worked very well for me. Sometimes its still in the back, you have to show a manager that its in stock online and they will go check.

Hammond, no, they only had 5-6 I think, for some reason everyone slept in and the crowd got there as I was walking out the door. Seriously doubt they have any left at this point.

Picked up a S&W MP at Academy. I was driving by and called to see if they had anything. Employee said no ARs. Then I asked about 10/22s. I was told they had two. Decided I'd grab one. Walk in literally two minutes later and there's the MP on the shelf.
Lesson here: Dont always trust/believe what you're told on the phone. Also, from my experience, you're better off stopping in at random times during the day than wasting time waiting in line in the morning.
