I am guessing he is about 2.5 years old but I could be way off. Decent rack but no brow tines. Is it bad genetics or do you think given another year or so he will develop them? WYSI or not?

Got a few on my place. We are going to give them a year as they look fairly young

We hunt near the Homochitto National Forest and somebody kills one like that every year. It is probably genetic. I killed one in that area that in my opinion was a great deer. Not that uncommon. Now the three legged deer I saw in a post on LA sportsman I have never seen IRL.

This one has had all he could eat in peanuts over the summer and now he is in a clover field so I know it's not nutrition and he is the only one I have seen around here without them.

He is probably safe for another year anyways. I have been busy running traps and they are going to start logging where he lives monday. I was just curious as to what the consensus was and wanted to see something besides ammo and ar threads.

We don't shoot anything at 2.5 on our place. I would give him another year and he looks to be 2.5.

That is a young deer. I'd shoot it but I'm a meat hunter.
