If PP7 stays his senior year where would LSU be?

We have PP7 and MC17 as starters. Backups are Simon, Mathieu, Brooks.
Probably the most loaded secondary in college football history. Honey badger gets to come in and wreck havoc even more because ball would barely ever be thrown to #1 and #2 receivers. Badger doesn't let ego get to him with PP7 there to help him grow and mature. LSU wins the championship game with momentum because Bama does not execute that game plan with PP7 here and I see us getting a few turnovers.
With PP7's guidance I can see Honey Badger remaining humble and actually playing this season and his ball hawking abilities win us the game against Alabama and probably Florida. We murder Notre Dame and win back to back national titles with the badger coming back his senior year.
Honey Badger demands his teammates Reid and Simon and maybe even Minter and a few others to come back and compete for a 3peat. Next year we stay loaded and have a great opportunity for that third national title in three years.
It's crazy what one simple decision can do for a program. I know TL;DR blah blah blah

If pigs flew, they would surely be more lean and bacon would taste like shite.

I know this is a delusional situation that didn't happen, but I was pointing out how one player can change many situations in a football program.

That's the funny thing about life.. Not everything works out just how you want it

Game ends in 0-0 tie, we still lose...

This is such an overwhelming truth

Okay, PP7 stays. T-Raw becomes impatient and leaves the program out of spite. Defensive discord from a fractured backfield results in underperforming in critical situations. Season ends 10-3 with a loss to Clemson in Peach.
Works both ways.
Works both ways.

I certainly agree with the thought that if PP7 stays for one more year TM14 doesn't... not give a frick. Can't predict how the games would have ended up but hard to argue that it doesn't make LSU a better team in 2011 and 2012.
Offense still blows though. Maybe TM14, PP7, Reid, and Mo all get pick-6s against Bama on 1/9/12. YOU NEVER KNOW. But I do know that that is what LSU would have needed to win that game.

I think a better question would be where would LSU be if Perriloux doesn't get caught with counterfeit hunneds or at the casino?

That's a little far fetched. If PP7 and Mo are the main corners then we have more talent/depth at corner. It also means TM14 doesn't get high all day of the game and has came focused and ready to play. McCarron never executes that gameplan with MC17 and PP7 as starters and the other guys coming in. Therefore Alabama doesnt score 21. It took a bull 4th and 1 1st down call for them to get one field goal and I just dont see them executing that gameplan with PP7 there to get more than 10 points . With a defensive touchdown and some momentum earlier in the game you never know we could have maybe won 13-12 or so. One swing of momentum can change the whole complexity of a game and in that one we had zero momentum.
Edit: Mathieu being abused all game slowly gave Alabama momentum as the game went on. He couldn't even do his job as a gunner that night.

You went into the ditch when you said Badger demanded all these guys come back.
Your initial premise is perhaps fine that with Peterson and Claiborn at corners in 2011 perhaps Mathieu is not a Heisman candidate and the pressure of fame doesn't take him down....but he was using drugs and testing positive BEFORE he really became famous....so the rest doesn't compute.

all d-1 athletes have herpes.... its fact.
if lsu could keep perilloux out of trouble he would have been a 1st rounder and we would be much more of a offensive team today then we actually are
cant take the ghetto out of the boy

Was Mathieu high the day of the game? I can see it.
JJ too. That game will forever bother me. Alabama was good, but they were not THAT much better than LSU.
