All I know is this: Mexico at home needs to be in Kansas City to take advantage of a pro US crowd

Southwest flights are pretty cheap to KC and Denver from NOLA right now.

I say put it in SLC. We whipped some Costa Rican arse there a couple years back, and had a good, pro US turnout.

We need to get established places where that team *knows* they're going to get skull fricked... Both by the team and the atmosphere.

No, we'll probably never have a Wembley or Azteca, but we can have the Mexicans hate Columbus, the Costa Ricans hate SLC, and the Hondurans hate Nashville (or Foxboro or KC or Denver or wherever) just the same.

Drag them to some "backwater" (I.e. not NY/LA/Chicago/DC), dry hump 'em and leave 'em for dead.

Agree with your whole post
My mind is changed, Columbus owns El Tri so let's keep the Messico game there

Seattle needs to host. Somebody needs to feel the pain of 70k Washintonites and Oregonians breathing down their neck.

Obviously Jeld-Wen would be louder, but the massive crowd would probably be more intimidating to anyone but Mexico.

DC would only be bad vs like 3 central american team but the scrub ones never make it that far

Agreed, DC should never host Honduras, El Salvador or Messico. Jamaica, Panama or Canada though? Bring those clowns on.

How was the atmosphere in 2009 when Bornstein sent the Hondurans to the WC?

Mexico wouldn't be that bad unless they all came from NYC down.

Didn't go. The worst i ever saw was vs Guatemala but their fans were great. Not like the shite you see with Mexico and like all central americans if you say fricking mexico they love it. Mexicans are lets just say viewed as the dregs Hispanic society

I love me some Rio Tinto, but the problem with playing Costa Rica there is one Alvaro Saborio. Not sure that I want to give Costa Rica's best forward (arguably) a game on his club's home field...

The last time we played Jamaica (at least in a qualifier) at RFK it was a split, IIRC.

Of course, that was 15 years ago.
