Frankly I have no idea but I missed the OB Eat/Drink thread last night and wanted to brag on the vittles I had.

Lightly dusted and fried venison backstrap steaks with wild hog sausage white gravy and some steamed sweet taters with butter. All with a few Shiners and an after dinner whisky.

I still feel full.

I got some taco soup with deer burger brewing in the crockpot and some Shiners in the fridge. I'm set to watch ND beat bama's arse

Left over food board jambalaya that I screwed up yesterday. Still edible, but I know I can do better. I need one of you S. of I-10 peeps to ship me some temple meat.

Got some fresh butchered yard bird, simmering in a gravy. Gonna kick back and have a few budweisers and watch the game.

I made 75 lbs of deer sausage last night. It was late when I finished putting it all in casing. Gonna smoke it all tonight. Will probably eat sausage and drink beer until midnight or so when it's all done cooking.

I doubt there is any near me though. I'll ask at Town and Country next time I'm that way.

Not yet. Not tried everywhere though. Tried Super 1 because of their otherwise vast pork selection. Butcher had no idea what it was.
