the owner is very wealthy outside of bowie's and has the store as a almost a hobby from what I have heard. doubt its closing.

Just bought a shotgun from there right before Christmas and they had plenty of pistols. No visible indication that they were fixing to close shop.

Coworker purchased a pistol this week from Bowies. Guy behind the counter told him they have sold a years worth of guns in the last month.

i went last week before coming offshore and they had pistols.

Good question, the main reason I barely ever buy stuff there. The only thing I don't mind to pay more for is baits if there's a good selection, and there's a local guy I'd rather give my money to when I can, with a better selection

They matched the online price of a 1911 and XBolt that I bought a couple years ago. They are high on the clothing though. Not sure how their archery is though.
