is it still wild game when it is mixed with shite quality pork raised in shitty condotiona and then sold from a grocery store? I prefer to keep it wild and not mix it up...

I am missing what you are saying. You dont like any pork on your deer sausage or you only like feral hog meat in your deer sausage?

Kill a feral pig and mix in there. I like some pork in it.

No. There is a reason for the pork. If you get a wild pig, great; if not, great.

Smoked deer sausage with no post would just be dry like jerky I would imagine.

I do not hatet pork in my deer meat, no matter what condotiona it's in. Try making plain deer sausage and you get no flavor cause there's no fat. I hatet meat with no fat.

25 lbs of sausage I use 12 lbs deer 10 lbs pork butt and 3 lbs beef chuck roast. I think the beef gives it depth.

Straight deer is way too lean.
