Nice gets. Anyone on this board interested in trading a 10 or 12yr van winkle for one of their BTAC bottles?

Thanks for the link.

Bottle count is basically the same. Seems like it should be an easy 1:1.

I hope Buffalo Trace keeps up with their barrels better than they proof their "fact sheets".

Check out when that Sazerac was put in the barrel.

Saz29

Maybe it's because they take the juice from barrels and put it in stainless tanks?

That's actually the true distilled date. It's been in stainless steel vats for years. The age stated is the minimum anyway. The Eagle Rare 17 this year is actually 19 years old.

Looks like I was wrong. After a little research it has actually been stored in stainless tanks for that long.

Anyone tried the Jim Beam Signature Craft line from this year? I was told the 12yr from last year was really good. Thought I would try the quarter cask also.

I've had the red wheat.. It's decent but not nearly worth the price tag

Anyone in BR wanting to try Pappy 23 can get a pour at Ruffino's for a modest $83. I barely held myself back...
